Any of you Southern Californians know about these guitars? Is this place a pawn shop? They have two KILLER Cobra S's on ebay I've been staring at forever.

Love this one!: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tom-Anderson-Works-2004-Deep-BLUE-FLAME-Maple-Cobra-S-Electric-Guitar-w-OHSC-/291473607724?hash=item43dd2e4c2c:g:dfYAAOSweW5VYPj 5

Insane price, very cool: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tom-Anderson-Cobra-Special-S-Dark-Cherry-Burst-Electric-Guitar-05-17-03P-RARE-/291382297199?hash=item43d7bd026f:g:AVkAAOSwNSxU391 O

What's the "Slimmer Cobra" neck shape?
They're both 4-bolts...what year did you go to the Wedgie?
Are these SS frets?

slimmer cobra is even taper.

06 is first wedgie on non atoms.

stainless happened in spring of 2002.

That deep ocean blue one has a rosewood neck, and it maybe a x-bridge, or whatever they're called? ...though I don't see any controls.
That might not be such a bad deal. I wonder if those two Cobras were owned by the same person. They're both awesome.
Pawn Shops make me sad because of the possibility of stolen goods, but also because everything in there may signify someones broken dreams.

if the blue one is piezo loaded, it is a fishman which does not require any active add ons.

if you can get the dates on the guitars, you can search our online database and we list stolen on anything that is reported to us.

They don't list the S/N for the first one, but they do for the second, it is 05-17-03P.

And you can see from the close-ups that neither guitar has a PowerBridge.

I asked them for the s/n...we'll see of they respond.

In the close up pic of the bridge on the blue one, what are those little pads on the saddles the strings pass over?

Bridges from that era, even non-powerBridge ones, have those kinds of saddles (I've had two in my hands like that). But if it doesn't have "Fishman" on the bridge, they are just saddles, no piezos underneath.

I remember those saddles. I thought they were really nice.

" We will look into whether we can provide the serial number on the unit due to our policy and get back to you."

Uh huh.
