No, not Tom's dogs. His killer pickups! I just had an H2+ and H1- installed into a non-TAG and it really brought it back to life. I was disgusted with it and tried to sell but realized I was going to take a MAJOR bath if I sold so I decided to try and boy am I happy that I did.

I also had Tom's crew install an H2+ in the bridge of my Classic about a year ago and totally dig it. The split sound on it sounds so good that I actually use it as much as the double coil sound.

So now I have H2+ in the bridge of 3 of my 4 guitars (2 of which are TAG).

For single coil pups, I'm old school and prefer the SA's. Doesn't seem like I see those spec'd as much anymore.

I had SA in a guitar and they were cool. I have had the h2+ in 4 different guitars and only semi enjoy it on one so far. Lol go figure. In all the other guitars I ended up liking h3 much more. Tom has a gift!

I'm seriously excited to hear the H3 and H1 in my build; I have no experience with TAG pups, so it'll be relatively new territory for me. I could just grab a used set and drop them in a current guitar, but for whatever reason, I want to save it for the NGD experience, heh.
