Hi Tom, what do you think of the "tuned split" used by Gibson (with capacitors) and PRS (using resistors)? Can I order something similar on my next Anderson?
have not heard either one. we use our vintage voicing for splits(it is resistive, like you switch to 250k pots.)

This (https://www.prsguitars.com/csc/schematics/2015/dgt.pdf) is how PRS does it. Gibson is similar but with a cap instead of the resistor. I guess one coil works 100% and the other works partially. This wiring was also suggested by Bill Lawrence years ago IIRC.
yes, same concept. we started doing it in the early 90's for all guitars that had single coil and hb options.
