Where are those headed? I want one but I wanted 'my' neck shape. I may have to wait and see what the future holds.

What neck shape are you looking for? I have seen a couple more for sale online.

My preferred neck is the 60's Vibe 1 5/8". They've fallen out of favor for dealer stock in recent years. Used to be able to find them occasionally on a 3 Color Burst Classic. Just like my first TA back '98. But on a Bulldog it's rare as hen's teeth to see anything other than a Happy Medium 1 11/16" or a .03" over.

BFC everything I am seeing is as you state...happy medium or +0.30. If I see something else I will let you know. Too bad too on the link you posted. Both the dealer's ads on eBay and reverb state 1960s profile in the title but the spec sheet clearly says HM. Every check to see if it's possible to buy one and then get a new neck crafted for it?

Yeah I saw that "1960's profile" in the title and got all excited. Doh!

I have two 60s Vibe Andersons. one 1 5/8 and the other is 1 11/16.

I wish we lived in the same town, we could lend guitars back and forth!

It is the only neck carve I'd probably even bother looking at now I love it so much. (I'm less picky about width, though... obviously... probably prefer the wider one.)

That's been my favorite neck for many years. It fits my hand and my thumb over playing style perfectly.

Evidently, our Supreme Commander feels that way, too, as my Atom was one of his guitars.

i'm actually a pretty flexible guy on neck shapes. in years past i usually played big necks then as my hand got in worse shape i migrated down to happy medium. it will be interesting to see how my hand does after my recovery, see if it can do the bigger necks again. i recently did a 1 11/ 60's on a new prototype and really enjoyed it.

That is one thing that really bothers me about this new position I took last August. It's way way tougher on my hands. I seriously under estimated the effects on my playing.

Heavy industry insulation. Pipes, high pressure vessels, things along those lines.
