Hi everyone. Just joined the forum (Thanks Jack!). Love Anderson guitars. Discovered them in the early 1990s but could not afford to get one until 1999. Had a few in the early 2000s but sold them and got out of playing for a while (8 years). Just got back in the game last year and am happy to say I took delivery of my new Anderson a little over a week ago.

It is a Pro Am in the black & white bowling ball finish. That was the guitar that first got me interested in Anderson but they weren't offering the finish on my last go around so thought I might as well come full circle to what drew me to the company in the first place. I absolutely love it. It has a swamp ash body and the pickups pickups sound awesome. It's nearly perfect. As soon as I get used to the neck profile, it will be perfect.

I was also lucky enough to tour the Anderson factory last week when I was in L.A. I met Tom and Roy and Tom gave me a tour of the factory. Everyone there was super nice. They are great people and offer excellent customer service. I waited 6 months for my Pro Am due to the paint outsourcing but Tom himself kept me posted all along the way and was very quick to answer any questions I had. His advice during the design phase was instrumental for me making the choices I did and I couldn't be happier with it. I also own several high end ESPs but I tell everyone I know that dollar for dollar, I believe TAG offers the best value instrument in the world!!

Looking forward to being an active member of your forum!

Welcome (back)!

Swamp Ash Body
Pau Ferro fingerboard
jumbo frets
even taper neck
split shaft tuners
1&11/16 nut
SF2/SF2/H3 pups
single strap button on the bottom (I use a stand :D )

I just started taking lessons (after nearly 20 years of playing  ). Last night was my first and my instructor owns a 94 purple DTC. After playing mine he was blown away how much more advanced it has come since his and now he wants to get a new one

TAG is the tops in prudent improvements! Your guitar looks like it was outfitted for NASA or maybe Bond...James Bond that is!

7 is my lucky #! Actually the guitar is still a relative newborn (5-17-15A) but has had an eventful 2 weeks. Shipped 5/18, arrived at Mesa 5/19, got here 5/20 and went back to the Anderson shop with me on 5/27 where I had Tom and Roy autograph my spec booklet. I am dropping it off today at my tech for final adjustments, mainly neck as it acclimates to the hot, dry climate here. 108 and <10% humidity today.

Thanks. Yeah I was a little nervous throughout the 6 month wait but very happy when I cracked the case.
