Anybody got any of these on a guitar? If so, what do you like about them/what are they known best for? Versus Gotoh or Tonepros, Graphtech or any other hip bridge?

I've had three Wilkinson Trems.
All were exceptional.
The most recent was a Fishman/Wilkinson. It was the best of the three I've had.
Honestly, the only trem system I've used I like more is the Mann-made that is on the US PRS guitars.
when the wilkinson bridge came out i loved the way it looked and thought i would love it. built a guitar for myself with it, then promptly removed it. it sounded so much different that i could not take it on our guitars.
i know others use them and like them but it was not for me with either of their saddle choices.

Tom thanks for your input. Do you think it was a design thing or the metals compositions used? Aren't you using Graphtech now?
i'm guessing a bit of both.
our trem bridge was gotoh for years, and with graphtech saddles for the past 9 years. we switched to an independent maker for what we are doing now with the graphtech saddles.
we have used the same steel materials since the fishman made bridges of the early 2000's.

Thanks Tom. Picked up a very old first gen. Godin Artisan for a song..needs alot of TLC though..definitely a new bridge. (Wilkinson)..will measure this weekend to see what will fit. I was thinking either a direct replacement of the Wilkinson or a Gotoh or Hipshot. Ebay has some good deals. Thanks again!
