1. First of all, can you install a PQ in a Bulldog? (I assume you can but want to confirm)
2. Have you done this yet and how would you say it sounds?
I love my Bulldog and the pickups that are in there (H3 and H1). I am not necessarily inclined to switch them out but I really like the PQs in my Raven. A lot of classic tones I like were with a Les Paul and a P90 style pickup. Thoughts?
Tom,
If you read this, I am just waiting for the obligatory "I can build one for you!" reply. My couch isn't comfortable enough to house me for the next 6 months. ;)
the pq will not fit, but the PH will fit easily. sound is the same. just copy the wiring and you will still have dual sounds.
so you may stay in your own bed.

oops...got the letters mixed up. I meant PH. That is good news although I wouldn't mind another Bulldog!!
We could do that too, but sleep is important.

I will say a new Bulldog order will be submitted sometime over the next 18 months. My son is completing a 2 year volunteer mission in Juarez, Mexico. He has been there for just over two months. He will be home in July 2016. I thought I would reward his service with an Anderson Bulldog. I will certainly be reaching out at that point.
He has loved playing my Bulldog as his main guitar is a low end Epiphone.I am so happy he can tell the difference. He is great at guitar but an even better young man.

Wow, you look too young to have an adult son - at least from the waist to the neck! You sound like you have a wonderful family mate, cheers.

Thanks so much for that compliment! We come here for the guitars and the community but ultimately my guitar family (which is exclusively Anderson ;) ) I am most proud of this family (obligatory picture):

Great photo. Everyone looks so genuinely happy. You are a lucky man.
