Hey this is a lttle self serving, but I don't know another way to reach the other TAG players in Richmond. Sorry but I do not have all your email adds. So if you are not from Richmond, you can just ignore this:

I will be performing at the Carytown Watermelon Festival on Sunday, August 8, 2004. I will be with two acts. Hudson Street, a Jazz Duo performs at 2:45. Immediately following, at 3:00 is Therochelle. We are a rock band. We will play the stage at 5 Babes.

Point of reference for all you TAG owners: This is an outdoor festival with 45 minute sets. Many bands and much confusion. But they do run on time. However, so as not to risk loss or damage to my precious guitars, I will probably be using a Fender Strat or Tele through a Mesa or Fender amp, rather than my typical HDT and HCS through DRZ set up.

Hope to see you there!

I'm in PA, so I won't be able to check it out....but I hope the gig goes really well for your guys!

Probably not a bad idea about the guitar swap too. ;)

One of my co-workers is headed down that way on business tonight. I've given him the link to the festival. He was looking for something to do tommorrow!

Things were screwed up so bad at our customer that my co-worker will still be in the area this weekend also! He's planning to drop by with 2 goals in mind: 1) drink heavily and 2) drink even more heavily. Needless to say it's been a stressfull week for the boy!

Good luck on the gig!!

Well this event is a good place to do it! :D

It is supposed to be only 80 and brezzy Sunday. It is an outdoor event with all kinds of music, (nine stages), street vendors, and food vendors.

We are playing at 2:45 in the courtyard at Babes. Babes is about in the middle of the whole event. I will be playing a Red Fender Strat and a 52 Tele RI as well as a Martin acoustic. Our band is called Therochelle.

Tell him to stop by. It will be a great event!

Danno: Wow, a great turnout! Sorry we didn't get back to Babe's when you guys played. We ended up way down the road at 3:30, and by that time with the huge crowd it would've taken us an hour to get back again.

I trust the gig went well?

Bill,

Thanks so much for coming! Wish were were not behind on our schedule.

It was a great event wasn't it? The place was packed, our venue was REAL crowded. As you know the area in front of our stage is usualy a sand volleyball pit. My wife brought my one year old, and he stood in front of the stage and danced around and yelled Da-Da for many of the acts, including ours. I think he was a bigger hit than many of the performers!

We DEFINITELy plan to do it again next year!

Thanks again!
