Switcheroo Question

Tom,

I have a Pro Am from 1988 (07-19-88) with the switcheroo. How do I know if the switches are wired for split or parallel? It does not have any micro switches.

Also what current pickups would you compare the ST1 ST2 to?

if that still has the st1 and 2 in it, those are tapped single coils so there is no series/parallel or split, just a hotter or weaker single coil. it would have to have dual coil stacks like the Sk,Sl,Sd,Sa or Sf series to have those switching possibilities.

Oh wow I didn't realize that. It has the Ultra Sonic single coils in it now.

those are side by side humcancellers, so if your up switch up sound is not as loud as the down switch sound, then it is series/parallel.if you hear hum in the up sound then it is split.
