******** Guitar Has Sold **********

My wife and I have an agreement ….. 4 guitars maximum at a time – I’m looking to move a Crowdster into the group so I have to ship one out – Don’t know if anyone here is interested in an acoustic but if you are this is a great one – I’ve listed this Collings 01sb several times over the last couple years and pulled the listing – This is a hard one to let go but the time has come

This has been my morning drink coffee and watch the news guitar – Never been played out and completely smoke free - Terrific condition and never touched by a pick (I play strictly finger style with the pads of my fingers) – Back in the mid 2000’s the trend was to remove the pick guards to give the guitar a “cowboy” look – I like it but if you want to replace it Collings will sell you a brand new pickguard for about $30 - I’ll put on a brand new set of Eilxir strings

This is a 2006 model with standard 24 7/8 scale and 14 frets to the body – The guitar has an upgraded Collings shaded sunburst, Pre-war scalloped bracing, Sitka Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides, Ebony fingerboard and bridge with drop in bone saddle, Mother of Pearl Collins logo with pearl dot fret markers, Tortoise bindings with black and white purfling – The tuners are Nickel Waverly … believe me everything they say about these tuners is true – The lower bout measures 13.5 inches in width and the sound is focused with lots of punch and air swirling around the notes in the distinctive Collings voice - Ships with the original case

A dream for finger-style acoustic guitar players this model works well for performing or a comfortable lap guitar to keep you company on the sofa

Here’s a great guitar model you don’t see come around very often
