I've had this about ten days now. Hollow T, 1992, swamp ash, tung oil finish, well played (and I do mean well - it used to belong to a very well respected and successful professional musician), and quite the friendliest guitar I've owned. Something about how it fits my hands, or enables my hands to fit it.
The thing I find strangest is that it sounds exactly like I wish my Fenders (fine guitars) sounded, but don't. It has an edge to it. Sharper, twangier, livelier, springier, whatever. Pickups are SK1, SK1R, H2+. And it's light - 5.5lbs or thereabouts - which is a bit of a bonus for the aging guitar nut. I absolutely love it.
And is there another guitar maker who personally answers emails about 22 year old guitars? I'm impressed.
Going to have to save up for a new one now...
All the best,
Anthony
