F-ONE Oil

Tom,

I bought some F-ONE Oil based on your recommendation and only used it once, but it worked great. Do you use it on your maple boards as well?

I got a little pack of it and a strap with my new Drop Top as well which was a nice surprise.

I got some too when I saw it mentioned here. Great stuff for rosewood fretboards, and possibly for unsealed maple too (I don't have any so I'm guessing here).

For my sealed maple boards, I just use a regular cleaner to wipe off any dirt. No need for oil there.

You shouldn't need any oil treatment on maple boards.

we do use the oil on chocolate maple fingerboards as they do not get sprayed with satin finish like the regular maple.
